The Fatigue Severity Scale is a method of evaluating the impact of fatigue on you. The FSS is a short questionnaire that requires you to rate your level of fatigue.

While this scale is interesting to complete for your information purposes only, this scale should not be used to make your own diagnosis. Take it to your neurologist for further discussion.

I got a 6.6, fatigue is one of my biggest issues. It amazed me how dead on these questions relate to how I feel. Interesting, thanks Lynn!

Thanks for the post. I got a 5.3. What brought my number was down was "exercise brings on my fatigue". Exercise helps my fatigue actually.

I got 4.33 but 1 or 2 of the questions were a little vague so I may not have an accurate reflection....Fatigue causes "frequent problems" , "frequent problems" should probably be defined more thoroughly...ok the cheese stands alone! :D

Would I be a jerk in telling the truth here??
Says I'm a 1, but I really think it's more like .1
I've always just gotten "normal" tired, rarely. Not ms fatigue....
Prolly helps that I'm a rampant psycho tho =8^0 heh. The fun kind of crazy, anyway!!

5.7 here, maybe could be higher but I try not to blame all my problems on fatigue all though it is one of my worst symptoms

5.2 here! i always wondered how much it impacted me. My fatigue is my 3nd biggest compaint besides moblity and pain

I got 3.4, I think the only reason I managed to get that is because regardless of how bad I feel I still have others who depend on me, I have to work and I am a single parent. My motto is "fake it to make it". Majority of the time I am exhausted by some how I mange to keep pushing through exhaustion and all. But yes fatigue is awful.

xaviermom you have to get a tiara for doing so well. Obviously you work through the fatigue. An 3.4 is fantastic. Very good. Sound like you don't have MS or don't let it have you!!
