I just thought I would share because I know fatigue is awful for most of us... I read a thing about dehydration being a factor with fatigue so for the past two weeks, I have been drinking LOTS of water. To my surprise, I actually feel better. Prior to reading this article (sorry I can't find it now) I was drinking lots of soda (causes dehydration) and was so tired. I couldn't drive because I would feel like I was falling asleep at the wheel or "zoning out." My neuro said that was common in MS patients. Since increasing my H2O and stopping the soda, I feel so much better and can actually drive again. Hopefully this helps even 1 person!

I agree drinking water often and being hydrated makes you feel better. Unfortunately I don't drink much when I have the larger size water bottles. But when I have the smaller, 8oz. bottles, I drink about 6 each day.

I think I'm going to try that - I drink coffee hoping it will give me some energy and in the process I'm probably dehydrating myself...thanks.

The big thing is caffeine. It dehydrates you, so I have been staying away from even chocolate and tea.... I feel so much better. Not 100%, but even a little bit helps. For energy, I have also found it helps to stay in a shaded area outside. I have a 2 year old so I notice a difference when he haven't been able to go outside with the rain. Hope somebody finds this helpful!

I think the ideal is 2 liters a day. I had a homeopathic doctor who strongly believes that close to 50% of people's physical ailments come from not drinking enough water. Having said that, I know I don't drink enough, but try to always have a water glass or bottle of water with me!
