I really didn't understand the article, as it was too technical for me, but I got the jest of the research, and anytime something new is discovered, it is exciting for MS. Thanks for the post Anne!

I always wonder why they write these articles in a confusing way... Most of the people, other than doctors, have no clue what is being said. Especially some of us with MS. Not sure about some of you, but I have a hard time processing this stuff. Before MS, I was sharp and able to. Oh, the wonderful things that come with MS. :)

Thank Anne. Always helpful to know their is hope on thereMy neuro has mentioned to me that Biogen has been working on a remylenating drug - Lingo. They are doing clinical trials in Europe because the guidelines are less strict than the FDA here in the US.

Also I strongly believe low levels Vitamin D3 have a strong association with MS. Here is an interesting study on that:

Anne8, this is a great article. It says by using the same type of hormone produced in the 3rd trimester of pregnacy ( synthesized ) it tells the body to make " baby " nerves that will be come healthy "adult" nerves. The same way they are using stem cells to grow new organs. Differentiated just means those cells will only become what they want it to be. This could really be a heaven sent fix. Thank you for sharing you made my day. Oh and NO side affects.

Indeed a very technical article. I don't think they intended it for the public. HCARD was great in interpreting the medical jargon. Sounds promising! Thank you for posting!
