Epstein-Barr & MS

I've done a lot of reading regarding Epstein-Barr & MS. I've had Mono twice and chicken pox 4 times. My new Neuro, who's AWESOME, did some explaining about the relationship of theses and put me on a drug for 6weeks called Acyclovir. Just wondering if anyone else has done this.

My husband (RR MS) has had chicken pox but not Epsom Barr, that we know of at this point.

If you don't mind me asking what was your experience on Acyclovir?

I haven't started yet, just got the script yesterday. It was really nice to go to a new Dr and not having him order a million test, not even an mri. The last specialist I went to wanted to do all the really expensive tests that I already had 10 times before. I will be switching to the 40mg Copaxone though.What is your husband on?

EPagain-Apparently, 95% of the human population and 100% of MSers have evidence of exposure to the Epstein-Barr virus, even though the person may have never realised it/experienced signs of it. I personally had a bad case of mono at 20. It was like a bad flu for a month.
