Today I may have discovered a cure for my lack of energy. If so, it's a lousy cure and not one that anyone would want. This is what happened. While teaching my class, all of a sudden two speakers fell from a shelf above me and both of them hit me on the side of my head. Not only a shock, but major pain! After about two hours of not feeling real red hot and gaining a very large bump, my energy level suddenly soared and I experienced the 'old' me--the energetic, somewhat entertaining instructor. It was so nice to be 'me' again! I started off the day really tired, got hit in the head and energized, and now I'm tired again. I don't know if the hit in the head did something, but I don't know what else to attribute this energy to. I wouldn't suggest that anyone actually try this--I just think now that it's kind of funny (sure didn't think so at the time!).I must have a really hard head as there was a really loud 'thunk' when the speaker hit. The speaker's cover also fell off from the force of the hit. On a positive note, maybe some sense has been knocked into me now! LOL
