dizziness, why?

For the past two days I've been light headed, off kilter and kind of dizzy. I am under a lot of stress right now. I'm also not sleeping at night again. The past few nights I think I've only slept for 3 or maybe 4 hours. Do you think it could be related to the stress, the sleep, both, something different? I keep blowing it off but maybe it's a new symptom, I'm not sure. What do you guys think?

Contact your doctor, get checked out, might be ms/stress related but rule out anything else

Hello,
I am new to the group. I had been dizzy for weeks non stop. After having blood work done, doc said my vitamin B12 levels were too low. I have to give myself injections of B12. The day after my first injection, dizziness completely went away for 2 weeks - yeah! I just had an MRI w/ & w/out contract 2 days ago and the dizziness is back. Have you had any blood work done to check vitamin levels? B12 deficiency has a lot of similar symptoms as MS which surprised me. All my other symptoms are getting worse, but the B12 did help with dizziness. i need to tell the doc the contract injection from the MRI caused the dizziness to resurface.

I have no definitive diagnosis yet, I'm still in what I like to call "diagnostic limbo land". I just recently had an MRI and I've had blood work done as well. The bloodwork came back with nothing off more than a smidge off here and there. The MRI came back not showing any lesions. If I'm not showing any lesions yet and the bloodwork is fine I don't understand how I can crop up with something new like this. I can't see that they would find anything new on the MRI yet since it was only just done about a month ago. That's why I'm so confused as to what is going on. Since they've already done these tests can they even do anything for me if I call to report it? I feel like I'm just being a hypochondriac or something, even though I know what I'm experiencing, I'm afraid if I call them that they will feel that way too.

I have just gotten over benign positional vertigo. A good way to see if you have vertigo is to sit, lay back (fairly quickly) you may try turning your head to one side when you do it and then the other. If you feel like you are on a merry go round.. it is vertigo. OTC motion sickness meds help a lot.
There are other tests that the doctors do for this also.

Just wanted to throw out a possibility that does not mean anything horrible, just a common illness.
