Hi:
I just need to share. And if it's jumbled, the cognition symptom is exacerbated! SO - I had a tummy bug last week and as I'm sure you know, when the body deals with something else, like sickness, it depletes the energy it has to deal with regular life, and MS and symptoms can flair. For me, balance, cognition and those 20 pound bricks - fatigue!
Usually, I'll just pass on plans (I live with my boyfriend and cats so gladly no kids to tend to) and chill on the couch. But there have been SO many holiday things to do! I'm finding I can do 1 thing per day before going home to chill on the couch.
But, going out to do that one thing is SUCH an energy drag and when I'm there I feel like I'm explaining myself, am I sick, it's a flair up,
whatever, I feel like a lump!
So, off I go to do my 1 thing a day, but at least I'm going out and yup, perhaps, my flair up will talk a bit longer to get to baseline, but I'm trying!
Please share your experiences. I'm sick of explaining mine! xo

And now that it's all over, I need at least 2 weeks of down time.
I try to explain it like 'my gas tank is empty" or something -- butfeels so much worse than that.
Djbritt -- I do all that - dropping stuff, etc. But I really only have my husband - who works full time - to help me. I do a lot of my shopping on line.
ChrissyH - I hate giving gift cards. But my family is all getting old enough that I can't buy what they really want. Starting next year -- they are all getting gift cards -- except the 6 year old g-daughter.. MAYBE - 1 inexpensive package under the tree to unwrap -- ?? from Hickory Farms????
