Ahhhh....The "Candida Syndrome" has been an ongoing battle between alternative medicine folks and western medicine folks like me (they always claim we are unaccepting and have a stake in keeping patients sick...ugh)
If you know me..I am very accepting of alternative medicine BUT I need to see evidence based medicine results for it.
There has never been any study published in any medicine literature that reveals that treating this so-called GI overgrowth of yeast with fluconazole does anything (in any syndrome tested..including chronic fatigue, etc). That is not to say some might not get results...but while I usually tell people to give it a try...I cant with this because Diflucan (fluconazole) carries some risks and should be used only when absolutely indicated...and I dont think it has been shown to do anything for your MS, fatigue, GI upset or any other syndrome
Sorry Melaniemic...if i sound cynical..I would love you to try it if i thought it would do anything for you....but I cant say I believe in it
