Good Luck.
Verbal fluency is the ability to find the correct words to express thoughts. Thus, an MS patient may not be able to articulate a complete thought. Difficulty with verbal fluency occurs because MS can affect the parietal lobe located on both sides of the brain. Thus, patients who are really bothered by this syndrome should make an appointment with their doctors to have the verbal centers of the brain assessed for abnormalities. Fluency testing is reliable in people with MS.
After much googling, I found that speech and language therapy is a group of treatments for communication disorders. Speech-language pathologists, also known as speech therapists, provide this therapy. Treatment includes exercises to create speech sounds, as well as breathing control and muscle relaxation exercises. Therapy may initially be as often as three to five days a week, declining in regularity as the voice fluency problem improves. In some cases, sign language was taught to overcome this deficiency. But in real life, imo sign language doesn't help in the day to day conversations where speech fluency deficiencies exist.

Its an embarrassing predicament to find yourself in, I know. I find it especially hard at work wherein I'm trying to sound half intelligent! I often just bumble through the conversation and tell the people I'm talking to that I'm experiencing this problem and to bear with me. Other than that, I don't know what else to do. You are not alone.
