I too have the burning face but mine is on my right cheek. the top of my right foot and hand also burn a lot.
what I find is it usually happens when Im fatigued or over heated.

I have had that same strange burning but it is ususally in my legs and at different times in each leg. I do notice that it happens more often when the weather is warmer. Hopefully the sensation passes pretty quickly as mine does. Good Luck.

goodness,, i cant seem to put out the fire,, i get it under my feet and sometimes the whole body,,feels like want to sleep on ice.

my face burns all the time and has non stop for tree or four months, I just got used to it, I had no choice, it never goes away

I had burning about a month ago, only around and on my right ear. I spoke to someone at my local MS Society and she said that it is not generally a symptom of MS. I have no dx yet, but hearing that others *with* MS are getting these burning sensations gives me a stronger impression that I have it.

(I am pursuing a parallel investigation for Lyme.)

I find it hard to believe that someone at the nmss would tell you this is not a symptom. It is a nerve pain, and definaetly is a ms symptom. The ms specialist will usually give you neurotin . This and other drugs really help this kind of burning sensations. Yes I too have had these off and on for 15 years. It seems to go from different areas of my body. Good luck,Sandi

The burning patches on your face usually indicate lesions on your brain. My hands often feel as though I have rug burns.

I have the burning sensation as well but so far I only have it on the tops of my legs.

I also have the burning sensation on the left side of my face and my head sometimes feels like my head is on fire.
