I see a lot of post with people complaining of tightness in chest. I been having that problem and go on the 2nd to the cardiolagist for a work up, I had a heart attack at 35 so I try to stay on top of things.
But anyways in my quest to diagnoses of MS I was complaining of fatigue to my PCP and he thought Sleep Apena so he sent me for the test to rule that out. I did the 2 sleepovers one with all the wires and the second with all the wires and the sleep apeena machine. When I went back for my results they said I needed the machine and not because of sleep apena but when I lay on my back, my breating is so shallow that I stop breathing 53 times an hour, a occurance is when you stop breathing for 10 seconds.
So of course I asked about MS as I never had problems growing up and they said yes it could be related to MS. Now that that was pointed out I try to make a consious effort to try and breathe deeper and have found that it has slowed or cut how many times a minute.I have to breathe in and out Have any of you had the sleep apena test because of fatigue? and has anyone asked thier drs if the breathing problems are related to MS. They also showed me how much my oxygen level dropped, A cause of headaches in the morning?. I guess that explains why I feel insomnia cause when you stop breathing they said the brain wakes the body and makes it breathe
When you are having chest tightness does it feel like it is part of the hug? or that there is not enough room for the air to fit in and do you also have shallow breathing. Seems like there is always for MS to screw up for us. I almost fell like the cardio is going to be a waste of money but better safe than sorry. I would also guess if you are having a tight chest when you breathe you will breathe more shallow and lower the oxygen level in your brain and less oxygen level in brain makes it do weird things to us
This might be a good test for those of you with shallow breaths and also I never knew I slept on my back, go to bed on my side wake up on my side

There are a handful of times that I might be able to tell the difference, but being that I have all these issues to figure out what is what, well, I'm sure you could see how one could get confused & the fact that MS & epilepsy makes you confused to begin with...OH BOY! HA!

Thats what I like about this site someone brings something up you don't think of or know anything about and you tend to do some research and become more informed of the disease that is invading your body. A thanks should go out to everybody so THANKS for helping educate me and being there for me and everyone else. On a lighter side those pay it forward commercials could learn a lot about paying it forward from a site like ours. I hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday weekend.
