Hang in there. We are all here for you.
The thought of secondary progressive is so terrifying that I can't even think about it, not longer than 5 mins or i have a complete panic attack
I will not even read about it, at this point.
I can't imagine what a rough day that must have been! My heart goes out to you...
To all, about depression:
I have to just stay in touch with "the fighter inside me" and take things symptom by symptom and minute by minute.... As long as I stay in "fighter mode" I can keep the depressive thoughts "in control" ... I will give the depression up to 3 days of my life at a time, then find something to pull myself back up. (This is far from easy, and it is a common battle for me!). I tell the depressive thoughts they can have those few days, but that they cannot take my life. To be honest, this took years and years of practice... and fighting ...and talking with others ...and reading ...I'm making it sound a lot easier than it actually is!
Gemini Amy- I sent you a private message!
Anyone who wants to, can message me privately, I would love to have more people to talk to about this!!
just28me, you have inspired me to write a post on the subject of progressive MS. I have primary progressive, which I will try to explain a little. You don't have to be so freaked out about it, try to read it.
If I feel the need to cry I try to go off somewhere and let it rip...I can't stop it and I feel better afterwards-usually. I used to feel bad about it but I have since embraced by emotional rollercoaster I get to ride...not always fun but often entertaining!
