Make sure you're putting your health first when making your decision.
I hope it works out for the best!
You are not a child anymore. It is not a case of you against Dad to get out of the house. When we want to be treated like adults in making decisions, then we must behave as adults. Having clear and concise conversations. Say what you mean, and mean what you say. Help him have confidence in the fact that you know what you want and how to get it. And remember, that 'Parenting Learning Curve" never ends. We are all still learning how to parent, even when our precious bundles of joy, to whom we have given our life circle, really dont need us as they used too. Somewhere in there, we as the parents have to realize our children have their own path to walk, with out holding our hand.
I hope you can approach your Dad, not defending anything. But instilling confidence that you know who you are, what you want, and how you are going to achieve it.
One the other hand, if you have a monkey on your back, cuz somewhere deep down you really kinda know that what your Dad is saying is true----Then Girl!! Dont you settle for a broken situation!!
Either way, good luck.
