Understand that if you have been on a lot of steroids this can leach, reduce absorption of or interfere with functions of nutrients such as Calcium, Potassium, Vitamin D, etc. This can all have negative impacts to your bones.
Plus if you are low on female hormones ie Progesterone (due to over production of natural steroid called cortisol) this can negatively impact the bones.
Reducing inflammation and stress can help reduce natural steroids and therefore help bone health.
The book Autoimmune Success covers some brain therapies to reduce your body from producing stress and Food/GI tests to reduce inflammation. If you want more info on that you can go to www.AMSchneider.com

I lay on a couch, fully clothed, and the technician ran a 'wand' over my body. It was completely painless.
I take phosomax (sp?) weekly. I have been on this for three years.
