sorry about that. i just try to use the ac and keep cool.
My thermometer is broken too!!!
I'm heat intolerant plus I freeze on ac due to thyroid . I use cooling vest, chew on ice and wear warm clothing for ac, which I'm mostly in.
It's difficult to plan anything, but I carry stuff for every possibility,,or at least I try.

My Hubby also says my thermostat is broken.
When I was at home in the winter time I would ask my Hubby to open the window then close it and back again.
It seems like I do not ever feel normal I am either too hot or too cold.
Just another joy we get to experience.
Still trying to learn to cope with this. One thing that I have noticed in the summer is I can get the Slush from Sonic (they will sell you the ice without the flavoring if you want) but most of the time I get the flavoring. I buy a large one when I have to be out in the heat and sip on it all day. Seems to help my body temp not get to that sick and nauseating feeling and the temp that makes me sick all over.
( I haven't been diagnosed with MS.. I have been diagnosed with CFS/Fibro)
I appreciate the post too Kayce. It certainly helps just to be able to talk about it and share with someone.
Hope this helps!

I have been working with a naturopath for the last 2 months and the fist thing she said was OMG! you are so hot hot hot! I said thank you! and she said NO, I mean you are not releasing your heat, you are simply cooking. You must feel miserable. I said I do! She put me on some anti inflammatory stuff and within a week I noticed the red color starting to back off. I noticed I was cooler. I noticed that I started sweating during my morning walk, and stopped sweating so much at night. I feel soooo much better!
To be fair, let me explain that I went to see a "medical detective" I want to know WHY I have MS,not just that I have it. What parts of my body are out of whack. You see her and do treatments for 90 days and then she releases you back to your neuro or other MD after finding out triggers like parasites, or bacteria that doesnt belong in your gut, or exposure to chemicals like DDT. She washes you out and removes those triggers. I am half way thru my treatments with her and feeling like my old self again.
I would see folks at events and they would say "wow, you look like you are roasting." Folks knew that if the temp was over 70 dont invite me out for long and over 80 meant that I would turn you down. I was miserable and it showed.
There are several good products for inflammation like astaxanthan and zyflammed and others. You can also change your diet so that you are naturally getting good anti oxidants and avoiding things that cause inflammation like beef, pork, and other proteins.
