Sorry in advance for long rant.
Our Dr's are really good. As an example on Thursday I had district nurse here doing the catheter change & she checked my blood pressure & was worried straight away as it was 190/115 which is very high. She was surprised that she got through fairly quickly once she explained who she was. My GP listened to her then said for me to go down about 5pm. David was home by then so could drive me there. By then it was 192/125 so he was very concerned. Increased the covercyl to 10mg & added karvea to be taken in the morning. Gave strict instructions to David on what to look out for that night & if got bad/different headache, lightheaded, numb/paralyzed etc then call an ambulance & tell them risk of stroke. THANKS mate, didn't need it spelled out when lost Dad & his family (brother, sister, father) to strokes.
I had strict instructions to take bp later at night (take extra tablets when got home) & after taken morning tablets wait about hour, take bp & phone him with readings. When I rang he was with a patient but I waited about 5 mins & he called me back. The bp had gone down a little but still very high so still wants me to rest over w/end & phone him Monday with readings. Some have been real high others a bit lower but still not getting bottom figure under 100 & top sitting 170 or more. Will have to go back to Dr anyway this week. Does anyone else have blood pressure issues? I have always had low bp till now so this has thrown me a lot.
Just what I need. Add that to had a growth cut off hand, small & benign, waiting to see plastic surgeon as got basal cell carcinoma on nose so hoping benign too.
Still got foot in boot & waiting surgeon, pain is getting worse again, 2 toes
have turned brown, brown patch on foot & swelling etc.
Left leg is usually stiff & always drags.
Right eye is closing/blurring again so have Botox tomorrow, looking forward to the help that gives.
Take my pick of which appt is first over next couple of weeks with pain Dr,
neurologist, multidisciplinary Dr, Eye Dr (tomorrow) & various other everyday day things like physio etc.
It's always a case of which comes first with ms the chicken or the egg??
Can't kill my weird sense of humour.

All I can do is say...is just stay as possitive as possible Sue, oh and dont appologise for ranting or how long it is sooooooooo what we want to be here for you
