You will find many new posts on this new medication, Tecfidera. Do search. I've been taking it for the past 6 months and have absolutely no complaints. Yes, it is better than taking shots! I also get the medication for $10/month through Biogen and a financial program they have. It does not matter your income to be eligible. It's a win-win situation all the way around!

After an acute relapse, my Neuro is switching me from Copaxone to Tecfidera. Waiting to get the prescription. Glad to hear there is an assistance fund. There was for Copaxone as well. My MS was not diagnosed until I was already Secondary Progressive. Looking for a med that will delay the progression. Hoping Tecfidera will provide that delay. We'll see...

ditto for me on i choppel response, but i've only been on it for 34 months....i have a strong gut it did take me a few weeks to get used to it. i went heavy on OTC so i didn't have discomfort & it was strange as i realized i did not need each one and stopped tasking it....Gas was my big issue at first for a few weeks actually. not a probloem for 2 m onths. i still take a single aspririn when i take techfidora---i'm suprised at how much a singe generic aspirin stops flushing & how it comes back when i stop the aspirin---i really thin that those that faile to stay on it loin ger than a month, had "gas pain" gas pin can really hurt gas-x & beano.

the $10 copay is nice and that is an anti-oxidant to a nerve path....me i like ant-oxidants.
