My husband has MS and we currently live in western Colorado where it is low humidity but not convenient to quality neurology care. I will be finishing my masters in a few months and my daughter will be graduating from high school in the spring, so we are debating about moving next summer. I would like to live closer to my family (Michigan) but he is concerned about the humidity there. Does anyone have suggestions of where we should think about moving so that the weather would be good for his MS and there would be better care reasonably close? I'm open to moving just about anywhere in the US but would like to know where a good place for him might be.

Barometric pressure, elevation, humidity, average temperature, job market. These things would affect my decision. I'd suggest taking family vacations to MI after your graduation(s) and in the most humid and warm time of year to see how your husband does. I've found that the barometric pressure and elevation make a huge difference in how I feel. (It's tough living in the south but I'm in school too right now.)

I also live in Colo southern most I love the climates here but 3 hr drive to Denver and my neuro. Was in Phoenix in spring and loved it but it us way to hot in summer. Hope wherever you go it works out for you both.

For me it's the Oregon Coast. I moved to Lincoln City a year ago & I'm very happy. The cooler weather is wonderful, I get my exercise walking on the beach. I live 2hrs from Portland where there is a great MS center. I wish you luck & keep us posted.

    I just do not feel well and I really think that it's because I cried yesterday on my way to work about my Aunt who is in the hospital.  I don't think that we will have her much longer.  She is very frail.  Now she needs help eating.  So, this is the third time in a year that I felt this way after crying.  I think crying releases toxins into my body.  I also worked up a sweat at the gym...
