It's hard if you are single w/ MS. Glad you got a job--that is great. Good for morale. My wk disability allows no work and I am maxed out anyway. I volunteer but no prospects.
I made that choice too. The best is having no expectations, when you expect nothing, everything is a wow moment.
My youngest lives with me, she also has ms and we live a nice flat life. No emotional rollercoaster. My other daughter is my next door neighbor. I decided if I want to stay mobile, I got to make myself my full time job. I do.
Im no longer driving, spend most time at home and since I only felt lonely when I had someone, I make me my priority.
I do crafts when tremors allow. I read online. Come to ds, facebook. Im busy 18 hrs a day. Oh yeah I tend my veggie garden too.
I cant see myself looking after anyone anymore.
I love my life, Alma
