back spasms

I woke up yesterday with back pain. I am sitting here in my chair and my back has spasms.
I know I might have just slept wrong but just wondering if this could be related to MS because I am in middle of a possible relapse.

Yes it could be part of a relapse. Call your doctor! Let us know how you are doing!

He said my MRI didn't show inflammation but sending me baclofen out for back

d3bears ... be careful when taking baclofen. It can make u really tired. I am prescribed to take 3 per day. I only take 1 because anymore puts me right to sleep and I didn't want to fall asleep while I was driving.

Hi There

I suffer from back ache as well, sometimes it feels as if I am being stabbed in the back with a hot knife. I have started putting it down to MS HUGS. Take Lyrica at night, but when I am stressed it affects me more and the Lyrica does not seem to work. Had a mild relapse recently and my GP put me on a low dose of Medrol, my Neuro was out of the country, it seemed to calm the pain, but I am now on my last tablet and the pain is back.
I have one of those electric water bottles in my desk at work and use it when it gets bad.

Taking baclofen (low dose) and pain pills and seems to be doing better. Went to ER thinking kidney stones and they said beginning of UTI so taking antibiotics too.
