Went to Optomologist apt this afternoon and he said my double vision and color problems were in his opinion MS related.
He saw evidence that I had had optic neuritis recently, and that is probably why I have very blurred vision in the right eye and pain.
He also found a cataract in each eye but will just watch those for the next few months to see if they stay small.
He gave me a report for my neuro and strongly suggested optic neuritis due to MS

I'm happy to hear you went and got some answers and did he say the ON was gone? I'm pretty sure they treat it with steroids as it can affect your vison permanetly. I was just wondering if you've done steroid treatments before because of the cataracts, I just read a post on someone who had that surgery done and my mother in law just had it also, very easy surgery.
Was the optho a neuro optho, if not I would try to get one, but thats just my opinon. I wish you the best

Yes the ON is gone and I just happen to be on steroids at the time my eye was bothering me so much for bands around my ankles. My eye got better as did my ankles but I was left with blurred vision in my eye that the optho said was as good as it was gonna come back since its been over six months.
I know the surgery for the cataracts is much simpler now a days and hopefully that won't have to happen, he said he would keep a close watch on them and that they are not serious at this point.
Thank God I don't have to worry about that right now.
I'm alittle concerned because I know ON can be a sign of Lupus also, don't want to have either disease MS or Lupus, but I"m not gonna worry myself sick over this until I see the Lupus specialist next month. Wish I could wake up just one day and not think of either disease but the state of my body is a constant reminder.
