I think Betaseron is working for me at the moment, I haven't had a new symptom develop since last fall, and tysabri scares me. I know there's a very low chance of it killing you... but I just don't want the added stress of worrying about my medication killing me.
For a while I was feeling so good that I thought maybe I wouldn't have MS screw with me for a long time and it's scaring the crap out of me. I've started taking valium to make sure I sleep instead of laying awake stressing about what may or may not come next.
Some times I think cancer would be easier... then at least there are two outcomes... you live or you die and it's not going to suck forever.
No, absolutely none PML has occured in the firsts 12 infusions of Tysabri - so there is a year worry free- and next year they should have a blood test out top determine if a person has the virus for PML that goes out of control sometimes wit TY. If they have it they don't use Tysabri, if they don't have it they can use Tysabri.
I just tell you that- for you to keep your ears open to to changes in case you need to consider it in the future. I respect your current view on it, just keep your ears open in the next year for developments on it.
I'm glad you realize you need to call the doc about it,.
