The thing is the quackwatch website debunks the diet idea and I think that diet is VERY IMPORTANT to me. BUT the idea of caffeine to someone with MS and who uses a cath daily is a problem. When one gets UTIs regularly (myself), I have to limit my caffeine so I don't think that prokarin is a viable idea for me. It does help limit the fatigue but doesn't caffeine do that anyway??
Also, the therapy costs $250/month so one has to consider the benefits realistically. If you have the money, why not try it? Let us know how it works and we can then try it ourselves. The drug companies are not going to give it clinical trials and give it FDA status so that our insurance covers it so we have to do the experimenting ourselves. I cannot do it because of the caffeine. Good luck to those who can. Thanks for throwing this idea out there. We need all the ideas we can get.
One other thing, I have allergies. Doesn't histamines make allergies worse? Please help me on that question.
