The 27th will be a year that I've been with DS. Day before yesterday, April 10th, a year since diagnosis. In that year, what have I learned? That this isn't a dream. That I'm not going to wake up and find it all a figment of too much to eat at Zinburger's.

As I work my way, still, through another relapse that hasn't gone away since I went to the ER over a month ago... at least I think it's the same one, I still keep hoping that something will be done about this MS thing within my lifetime.

At least, this year, I didn't miss my daughter's birthday. She turned 21 and ordered her first (legal) alcoholic beverage, got carded, and proudly received her drink.

Now... can someone please hurry up and cure this thing? Please? With sugar on top? And a cookie?

Ahhhh.... we have April in common. :) For me, three years, and I don't think I'm waking up out of this dream anytime soon either. But, we all learn to adapt and to try to stay as positive as we can. Life is good overall, and I have learned it's the small things, like a dandelion bouquet given to me in July, and not all the roses that can be bought just anytime. :)

Just keep your hopes up and just maybe someday soon we can get some true answers and a cure. I hope you get through this relapse.

Definitely keep ur spirits up that a cure will be found. I'm at 10 1/2 years since dx & 14 yrs since the onset. For me I just want to stay RRMS and not switch over to 2ndary Progressive.

I hope for a cure incase either of my 2 kids develops MS. I don't want them to have to go through the 5+ years it took until I received a dx.

And a cure for the newly dx before it becomes too late.

I am sending u kind words, ((HUGS)) & prayers that things for u will improve.
