There are well known people who are "not" well known to have this awful disease.
That had such a tremendous impact on me simply because it really meant that life goes on. So instead of being downtrodden I accepted the harsh reality that life goes on; hence, I will be "living" life instead of just surviving...
She is working to go to the 2016 Olympic tryouts. She has had to scrape and work and do without and truly had a hard time having to deal with my illnesses. She has another girl on her team. This girl is beautiful, talented, rich and spoiled.
She elbowed my daughter to try to get ahead of her at a big meet and almost knocked her down. Has spread mean rumors about her and has made rude comments about her hair ( Sylvia is African American) and just basically been a real brat.
It doesn't matter if you do have money, if you don't have money. If you are the prettiest, smartest, most talented, nothing. It doesn't matter if you can't be kind.
That is the only way we can truly have relationships that last. I think having this and other diseases makes us kinder, or can if we choose. Like this lady said, it makes us part of the same family.
