I understand Amprya is to help in walking, but I do not have walking issues, aside from spasticity and tight muscles.

Does anyone know of any other use for this drug? Fatigue? Spasticity? I can find no other use, yet my neuro prescribed it stating it would help with fatigue.

I know of the side effects so i want to make sure I am doing the right thing.

I started Ampyra last August for my balance/walking issues. I'm thinking it's helped but I'm still gimped up on my right side and some days I limp on both legs. I've had insomnia the last month or so and I will likely stop it for a while and see what happens.

I belong to an MS telephone support group. I told them about these spasms I can't get under control and I believe the moderator said it can help spasticity. We then launched into a discussion about Ampyra.

I am almost certain on this and will doublecheck at the next meeting. I know that is one of your top concerns. If you can reach your doctor I'd ask. I am very happy for you that you found a good neuro.
