Hi all,
I know I should know better but I have got brain fog as well as other
crap.
Started about a week ago when the left leg dragged & I couldn't move it properly, then my arm & hand were much the same. Usually only left side but right hand has been same with cramping etc.
I was living with this & just getting around without worrying, thinking rest & it will go away.
Thursday I had a "me day" slept in (actually got woken by personal alarm company phoning at 11am when I hadn't done morning call), stayed in nightie & gown all day, turned heater on & watched tv & movies etc. Thought that would kick it in its arse & I would be fine.
Friday morning I was reasonable (except for one blank out but that's different story). By afternoon felt like I was a inner vibrator (if that makes sense). Varied from restless energy to falling asleep & not being able to move.
Saturday, overdid it in morning with finally putting away 2 boxes of ornaments & crockery that hadn't done since alterations last year & new floor coverings & then died in pants as saying goes. Could barely move once I had sat down & nothing else got done. (hubby was out at
lawn bowls).
Today, went to shops to fill scripts & do shopping & was ok till about 10 mins in. Hubby turned around & I was sitting on walker & right eye was doing a rapid blinking & wouldn't stop at all. I had to keep sitting on walker at end of aisles while hubby went down each & got shopping. (usually we use scooter but didn't this time as he has bad back & chest pain so didn't want him to put it in car).
Came home & have been resting. When I get up left leg varies from just dragging to being really painful to move. Left arm is useless with little movement, typing by right hand & leaving left in one position. I am used to left arm weakness so cope with that. Will Cope with left leg
being stupid as got electric wheelchair so wont need to walk tomorrow as can use that.
It's only my right eye that is worrying me, it is still painful, almost closed & when it does open it blinks rapidly (best description I can think of), & is very blurry.
Tonight have had varying pains in head too, started at front & has moved to back but still at front (if that makes sense). Seems to keep moving to different spots like a stabbing pain that remains for a few minutes then eases but leaves dull thing there.
I am due to see neurologist end of May anyway, should I bother phoning & try to see him o someone else there earlier or just fight through this & wait? I know you are not Dr's but have been through this or similar too.
I really don't want to be in hospital or go the roundabout again as so sick of dr's & if I go in have to be in isolations due to "hospital acquired infection" in August last year, also things been going good for me recently, just had great cruise & holiday, back at work etc.
Should I just rest & hope it goes away? Also got a lot of appts coming up that I really don't want to cancel as been waiting for them. Its confusing for me & too hard to work out.
Sorry for long post, as I said confused at moment & can't think that clear today. Hope it sort of makes sense & thanks for readings,
Hugs to all, Sue

Still having trouble with left leg dragging, arm is weak (fairly usual), but right eye is still giving me a lot of pain, blurriness etc. Today left eye went blurry while I was out which was scary as I was out on my scooter at the time. It was not bright or anything (cold day) but put sunny's on in case wind was the cause. It did calm down once I was home & rested (snoozed off) it seemed to be back to usual, or almost.
Don't know if this the forerunner of more problems with that eye as well as right eye but sure hope not. Just resting the eyes a lot & using computer for short bursts only.
If anyone has had experience with if the problems with eye can come & go before it stays or not I would appreciate it.
