I had allergy testing done in 1972 and when they did the chocolate, my arm blew up to nearly 3x the size. They told me to avoid chocolate as much as possible.
I had a whole list of allergies in 1972, and then when I was DX with MS, I went for the tests again, 2 & 3/2003, before I knew what was going to happen the next month; I figured if I could just avoid what I was allergic to, that would help greatly.
I started LDN 4/17/2003 and then in 2007 when I started noticing less reaction to things, I went back for the same tests as 2003. ALL MY FOOD allergies were gone! Even Chocolate.... but chocolate still triggers symptoms, just not attacks.
So, yeah, allergies are immune response. http://www.larrygc.com/mystory has my full allergy list and changes since going on LDN. (and my MRI reports showing progression stopped)
