In the study- "Altered Amino Acid Homeostasis in Subjects Affected by Fibromyalgia"- it was found that fibro patients lacked seven essential amino acids. One of them is methionine. Methionine is derived from the break down of dietary proteins. If you lack pancreatic enzymes, you will not be able to produce methionine or any of the other essential amino acids.
Lying at the very center of your body's ability to create energy is your mitochondria. Mitochondria are structures that are found inside virtually every cell. They are the "power houses" of the cell. One of the most essential substances for the mitochondria is CARNITINE.Carnitine is a critical compound your body produces using dietary amino acids. Your body manufactures carnitine from the essential amino acids lysine and methionine. Methionine was one of the essential amino acids found deficient in the previous study on fibro patients.
Low levels of the carnitine compound ACYLCARNITINE have been found in the muscles of people with CFS/FMS in the following studies.
1- Amantadine and L-Carnitine Treatment of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
2-Acylcarnitine Deficiency in Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
3-Long-chain Acylcarnitine Deficiency in patients with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
The solution is to restore all of the essential amino acids. This can and should be done through diet.

I have been really having a challenge with my 8 hour home health job in this Mississippi heat. I started it Sun, and have not been fatigued yesterday or today. Don't know if it is the supplement or just MS doing it's up and down thing with symptoms. But I don't do well on drugs due to so small. Seems like any med takes a toll on me. But I am trying it for now.
