I had an episode for about two weeks of extreme hip joint pain, to the point where I had planned to get a cane at the store the next day because I could barely walk, but then it went away. I'm not sure if this was a flare-up of the MS, or if this was a reaction to one of the meds that I was taking (Lisinopril). Does anybody know? Do most flare-ups involve pain?

Darling, been on Lisinopril for blood pressure forever... I doubt that is causing your discomfort. Yes, it may be a flare, but it might just be life. I try not to over-analyze every pain as MS brings pain, doing too much brings pain, life brings pain...

You probably know that MS is different for all of us. Sometimes I have MS pain, but I think mostly I have life pain from doing too much. I've got chickies and puppups and a farm to run so mine is just life! xoxoox Cj (Cindyjo)

About two years ago I had severe pain in my hip. I automatically thought it was an MS symptom and put off going to the doctor because I didn't want another med added into the mix. Finally, I broke down and went to the Dr. when it got to the point I could hardly walk. It was bursitis and once I was given an injection of cortizone, the pain was almost non-existent by the time I got to the car. Taught me not to attribute everything to MS=but it's hard to know.
