I want to know what a MS Hug feels like. Where is it located when it happens. If what I am feeling is not a MS HUG, then what is this?

I try to eat and my chest and esophagus tends to close up and my chest hurts.

Any ideas!!

I think that I have experienced the MS Hug only twice in my life. For me it was truly an attack kind of thing. I honestly thought I was gonna die. I couldnt breathe as I felt like I was being crushed. I knew it was subsiding cuz I could finally hear my own yelling from the pain. MS hug, my azz. It should be called the MS crush.......or even the MS squeeze

P.S...I put the different links because what you said was happening more to when you where eating you said & that seems more like a swallowing issue.

So I put a few links you could look into to see if any look like the pain & discomfort you are experiencing my friend.

Thank you all so much! I thought that is what I was experiencing. I read the links that were offered. I burst out crying! My older brother chocked on a sandwich and died. He had MS as well. He was more advanced than I am now and the same age I am now!

I will take heed to the links and the reccomendations offered!
