I am suppose to complete paper work to get started on rebif and I am freakin out a bit. I already take alot of other medication. Novalog, Altace, Zocor,Previcid, Singular, Clarinex and Symlin(shot). I am beginning to wonder if these doctors check on drug interactions.

I felt the same way you did. I just started Rebif in April, and am on several other medications too. I did research, and found that they do NOT have the drug interactions on this medication yet. I guess I've been fortunate that I haven't even had any side effects from the Rebif either. I'd check with your doctor though. You should be okay, but it doesn't hurt to ask the question.

YEAH, JUST MAKE SURE YOUR NEURO IS AWARE OF ALL THE MEDS YOU ARE ALREADY ON..THEY WILL KNOW BUT IT DOESNT HURT TO RESEARCH YOURSELF

im not on any of the crab drugs..but i do take 12 daily meds...which equal 26 tablets...sigh...and every time i get a new med my pharmecy is the one who catches whether or not there is going to be an interaction...three times now he has refused to fill a script because there was going to be an interaction...for this i trust him more than my dr...grin...i always get my dr. to check first...i have a list in my purse to always update family dr. both my neuros of all current meds...and then my phramcey catches it in the end...

There is a phone number for Rebif that you can call (I don't have it right now--I am at work--but could find it tonight if you need it.)

They have some sort of an advice nurse and you could call and ask, maybe they could help you out.
