Since being diagnosed over a year ago, I have read many posts and felt very lucky not to have the pain that so many suffer from. Now I wonder if I, too, have joined the 'pain' club. In the past couple of weeks, I have experienced pain in my limbs, joints, and muscles. It is kind of an aching that seems to be all over. Ibuprofen, which typically works well for me, doesn't really help that much (maybe takes the edge off?). While I know that all of us are different in regard to MS and symptoms, I nevertheless am wondering if this pain may be MS related? I don't have any other explanation for it.

I am also experiencing (comes and goes) difficulty going from a sitting to rising position. I can't really put into words this difficulty--only that it seems to require a huge effort to get up (not every time but enough times so that I have taken note of it). Is this just getting older? Could it possibly be MS affecting mobility? I'm very confused. My right side has been the affected side in the past. My right foot, which had nearly 'unnumbed,' is now very numb (1/2 of it anyway) again. Also, does the pain come and go at random?
