Poem I wrote that explains how I am feeling at the moment.
Have written couple of others too about thoughts as easy way to put my thoughts in words. I am not feeling sorry for myself - much LOL just struggling so rather than writing a long email point here tis.

WHY ME?

I feel like I am being hit from every direction.
I had surgery for my foot on September 6
Expected to be in Rehabilitation for 6-8 weeks
Have had infections in the foot
It isnt healing properly on top
WHY ME?

The pain in the foot has not given up
I thought it would ease in time
The pain is still real bad
I reacted to oxycontin and oxycodine
Went off with the fairies
WHY ME?

I had to have 4 days bed rest
Not hat was causing swelling and pain
Missed a presentation lunch
I had been looking forward to it.
NOT HAPPY
WHY ME?

My mobility has decreased a lot
It is hard work for me
On the shortest hop for me
My left leg is really sore
It is my weak leg that I am trying to hop on.
WHY ME?

Had Basal cell carcinoma cut out on Wednesday
It was on my nose.
Too big for nose flap so had skin graft.
That was very painful and still is.
Both places very sore
WHY ME?

In constant pain from foot and nose
Take tablets and they provide short term relief
Dont like taking too many tablets
But have to to relieve the pain and function
WHY ME?
