The Alarm goes off, to the day I awake knowing I had an eight hour break.
The sun it shines through my curtains of lace shedding light all over the place.
I straghten my legs each with a jerk knowing soon its time for work.
I look out the window while washing my hands, the car it sits waiting comands.
Stood on the stairs I make my way down, each step I take with an ever growing frown.
Sipping my coffe while reading the paper, watching the clock as it ticks later.
Turning the handle to open the door preying the car will start once more.
Heading for work I jump in the car knowing the journey aint that far.
Starting the engine at a turn of a key, each little component as busy as a Bee.
Moving forward on to the street knowing theres a bus I have to beat.
Turning a corner in to work knowing inside I cant be a Jerk.
Guys at work will take the piss But thats ok cos I enjoy their careing hiss.
They're full of resect for the way I work cos they know deep down I could be a jerk.
Walking around with an open mind cos god only knows whats there to find.
Taking things in without a doubt, cos if something is wrong believe me I'll shout.
Ending a day without regret cos I know all my friends are still there to get.
Without my friends I would'nt be happy, and with other people just be uncareing and snappy.
I set off home with a feeling of joy cos the clock still ticks as it did when a boy.
Getting home I sit on the couch knowing I got through the day without being a grouch.
I sit on the couch and watch TV of cause I care theres no one sat next to me.
I think of my work as I watch TV and all my friends who lent a hand to me.
I wonder upstairs ready for bed and not once in the day did my MS enter my head.
I lay in my bed with a smile on my face knowing tomorrow I'll return to my friends at that place.
In a calm knowing fashion I drift to sleep falling into a dream counting sheep.
To all my friends who carried me trough you know I enjoy being with you.
God bless you all who know me cos life goes on, that you show me.
Life with MS aint all that bad when you know you got friends its hard to be sad.

I especially liked your lines about being grouchy and this one:

A person can't ask for any greater satisfaction than that he behaved well throughout the day.
It's one of the biggest things that god asks from us: to treat our neighbors well.
Sorry Jim, I'm going to cry. Your poem made me want to cheer you. "way to go Jim!"
