Yes, since it's been hot, my walking has suffered greatly. I am mad that I can't enjoy the summer like I used to. I find myself wishing for that horrible January this year. 5 majoy snow storms in Jersey!
But the ice isn't good either. The most pleasant day I can remember was 11 degrees F with no wind chill and no precep.
Really odd. Very sad. But I can still hear the birds sing! Thank goodness for the little things!....
Stay cool (as I know the DSrs are!)!

u can make it as fruity as you want or not at all. its the cold that matters anyway.
need ideas for smoothies or shakes? I'm full of em.
try to stay cool all.
the fatigue has also been causing me to fall over allot lately.
I spoke with my Neuro. directly & he said that it might be a flare coming on, but that since it is getting so hot lately he wants me to try cooling off my body temp. for a few days & if that doesn't work, call him, cause it is indeed a flare.
He also said that personally, it was a combo of the MS exhaustion making me pass out & fall over & the MS exhaustion exacerbating my Epilepsy "Drop Attacks" as well. Cause, as we all know, things can all play off each other...like say...having a cold can make the MS flare, for example.
Some GREAT warm weather tips my Neuro. gave me were...
*** Munch on a cup of ice to lower body temp.
*** Purchase a "Fan Spray Bottle."
*** Use an ice pack wrapped in a towel to lower body temp.
*** Air conditioning in car or if air conditioning is broken...use: "Clip-on Fan for car.
*** Rolling down the car window can only pull in hot air, sun & make body hotter...possibility of passing out.
*** Travel at late afternoon when sun isn't as hot.
*** June- Oct: Most symptomatic MS heat related months.
*** When overheated...Find a shaded spot as soon as possible!
*** If all else fails to relieve symptoms in a few days, you are most likely going into "a true flare" & not just having "heat related exacerbations." Contact your Neuro. if symptoms last longer than than 24hrs., are new, different or are worse than before!
Take care,
Stay sane!
