I worked one year after RX cognitively, pain, fatigue won out.

I was diagnosed a year and half ago and I am still working full time and taking care of my family.

I am working. I do like my profession but the job can be pretty stressful. However only personal or financial issues create "bad" stress for me. You know if i work with an incapable manager or a vile person. Job stress in and of itself does not bother me or my brain much. It is impersonal and once i am done i forget the job and enjoy personal time

Amy believe that you will not have any disability. I am actually thping this and i have burning and numbing sensation in my fingers and arms.

I'm still working - sometimes it's ok and sometimes it's not. My doc says I should work less hours and he's got the SSA form in his desk drawer as soon as I'm ready. I used to think I could work for a long while yet, but now I'm pretty sure I'm going on disability within the year - probably.

I'm still working after a year in a half of being diagnosed. I have had to change my schedule back to a regular 5 day 8 hour schedule because the fatigue won over my 4 day 10 hour schedule but other wise I'm doing good. It probably helps that my job isn't too demanding or stressful and I have a very understanding crew.

Part of my difficulty in continuing working is: 1) I fell flat on my back in the circuit court; 2) I lost one of my music jobs in church, b/e the congregation was expressing "concern" for me - that I would fall; 3) my exec dir has mentioned my less than stellar performance and started to talk about me going on temp disability!

I've been working since my diagnosis in early 2009. I work from home supporting a government agency. I'm very lucky and the only one in my organization of 100+ that does this. Sometimes I need to nap or lay down, and I do. Other times, like during the middle of the night, I find myself working. It's very sporatic. I don't think that I would be able to work if I had to go into an office every day and all that that entails (dressing, driving in traffic, sitting upright for 8+ hours, driving home in traffic again). Fatigue is the number one reason MS people go out on disability.

I am still working with home health I have backed off on how many patients I do a day,but I wonder every moning if I continue to do this but I have been telling myself this now for a few years now.I have MS ,Sjogrens Syndrome,Fibromyalgia,Elilepsy,vasculitis,But I an trying to stay with it for a few more years...I am 53 now.
