But yeah, that may happen more often to us survivors, because a lot of times we don't recognize danger signals.
Why?
Because our families are so screwed up that what would cue someone else that "this guy is a threat," just registers as "totally normal," to us.
Meanwhile, we emanate subtle body-language signals that the predators can read, and they DO read, and they move in on us.
This is the truth as I know it, and it sucks.
Right now you have a child, you want to keep that child...so you need to be getting prenatal care, vitamins, checkups.
Someone in there had better hop to on that.
We have to learn to detect them ourselves and protect ourselves from their attack,specially around alcool and mind altering substances which they use to get us.
To find a good therapist who will protect us and keep us all united inside can help.
