I know you must be in alot of pain and i do get it...I think trying to find another outlet to let the pain out might help...(caring thoughts )

Cutting can be, and I think usually is, a step further into causing pain to yourself. For instance, I showed a big bruise to my dr. once, (which was a HUGE risky step for myself, in my mind) and he wrote in his after-visit comments, that I should find some other way to express my pain than biting, as it can lead to other things like cutting.
And cutting can become an addiction just like drugs and alcohol. cutting also leaves a permanent scar which will never go away. That might not matter to you right now, but it probably will later in your life. You said that you're not hurting anyone, but you are. You are hurting yourself and anyone around you who sees it. Cutting scars are scary to people who care, and something to (highly) judge you about to people who don't.
Not everyone else does it. Yes, some other people do it, and have done it in the past. And it has come out in the open to the public that it exists, so it seems it has become a "popular" and acceptable and common occurance. But that is part of the sliding denial of our society in general. It has probably been more prevalant than most people have known about until now.
I think the more important thing about cutting is, not so much about whether or not you do it, or how often or how deeply, but why you are doing it. Just like drugs and alcohol, cutting is a way to distract you from your inner pain. And just like drugs and alcohol, it may help you feel better for that moment, but eventually if you keep doing it, it can get very ugly and life-threatening. But not like drugs and alcohol, where some may be relatively harmless, and most "everybody" does drink alcohol at least occasionally. But occasionally cutting yourself is much more significant because it leaves a permanent mark. Which suggests that the pain you are trying to cope with is deeper than the usual pain people do drugs and drink about. It also suggests shameful feelings about your pain. Finding the source of that pain and working through it, without the shame is what's most important for you.

@starfish its to late to be worried about scars and since they won't go away i m starting not to care if people see I can't change it..
I cut on my upper arm so sleeves hide it well and its safe and away from any veins and stuff ...
I know my source of my pain but I have no voice my parents taught me that and this was my way of expressing, of fighting back and taking control...of dealing with the horrible things done to me,,,,
