Punching bag. Long walks. Kick boxing. Jumping rope. Digging holes. Squeezing a tennis ball. Playing sports. Can help with anger and excess energy.
Remembering the pain that abuse has caused others can be a deterrent from fantasizing it against someone. When I understood how upset I got when my husband stepped past one of my boundaries, it helped me to stop stepping past his very similar boundary that I had been inconsiderate of until that time.
Knowing where your fantasies are coming from can help you process your own past and ultimately realease you from your bondage to the thoughts you wish to be rid of.
