Multiple Personalities Support Group
Dissociative identity disorder is a diagnosis described as the existence in an individual of two or more distinct identities or personalities, each with its own pattern of perceiving and interacting with the environment. At least two of these personalities are considered to routinely take control of the individual's behavior, and there is also some associated memory loss,...
Spiritually speaking, I believe in souls but not in the organized religion sense. Rather, I suppose I believe it's part of that life energy (or chi) that is untouchable, perfect, in harmony...never hurt or wounded, nor capable of hurting or wounding.
But that's just me rambling :)
This first I knew of my ISH Sylvia was that Psyche sent me vague feelings and the information that my daughters both had CSA. Psyche told me I need to meet Sylvia and let her tell me about it. I said FU Psyche I'm in too much stress already for shit like that, I will not listen. The guilt and anxiety over just a little bit of feeling but no knowledge started eating at me. The next morning when I awoke but still sleepy and my eyes were still closed I saw a colored light behind my closed eyes. It changed from green to yellow and it spelled the name SYLVIA. I sat up in bed and yelled at my walls, FU Sylvia, I would sooner talk to Death of the four horsemen, you are one of these and I will not F***King listen!!!
I got drunk. Then the next morning I heard her voice. She said I am not one of the four horseman dear, you misunderstand completely. So I made some coffee, sat down and my computer and started to type.
All of my life just out of no where I have felt intense love coming at me. One time I was at the stove frying bacon and was just filled up with this sense that I am deeply loved.. by... I didn't know. I don't believe in God, for me that idea was out. I have felt this way dozens of times. When Sylvia spoke to me the feelings of being loved came again. She said to me, "you see? not death at all."
I told of this experience in both my private groups. One of the members replied that she has had the same experience. She believed that it was the essence of our humanity, our soul. Before I read this reply I asked Sylvia if she were my guardian angel? She replied Do you feel Guarded? Then she said no, not an angel. I said are you just an alter then? She said well, not angel perhaps more than an alter. Then I read my friends post and looked inside myself and asked her Are you my soul. I had a picture of an old, healthy, happy woman smiling at me. She touched her finger to her nose.
I (and sometimes other people) say some incredible things here at times. I also understand that my experience is not at all universal to others with DID, but I'm sticking to it. :--))
People with anger issues though...if I've been meditating a lot I see a darkness around their eyes, I can even see it in profile in front of them.
Evil and free for all abound here.
Oh, ok I was mistaken that you did believe in such things, I'm sorry. This all sounded weird to me, like a possession, so that is why I asked the question.
Reading people and sensing them in different ways than normal humans do is very common. Even non abused people can be hyper-vigilante and highly sensitive. I see the emotions of people experienced by colors and shapes, so I guess it's more like that. Believe me, I understand the need to stay clear of Christians, especially abusive ones.

I tend to be extremely empathic and pick up peoples' energies very quickly. People with good, positive energy tend to energize me which feels great. The flip side is people with poor, unhealthy or negative energy tend to drain me pretty quickly.
