Multiple Personalities Support Group
Dissociative identity disorder is a diagnosis described as the existence in an individual of two or more distinct identities or personalities, each with its own pattern of perceiving and interacting with the environment. At least two of these personalities are considered to routinely take control of the individual's behavior, and there is also some associated memory loss,...

I'm not a multiple so i have no personal experiences i can share with you. I've known friends here in this group to have experiences similar to your situation. When for whatever reason their host personality goes deep and becomes unavailable. I think the alters can often feel a little anxious about it . But i've personally never known the host to not surface again. Sometimes it can take a little while is all. I tend to think that if you weren't able to look after your body you wouldn't be out. And perhaps you have a special ability or skill that is needed right now?
oh, and welcome to the group. It 's soemwhat inactive at the moment, but i'm sure members will to share their experiences with you

We don't know how or if You feel Your Others...but...for Us...They reside somewhere inside Our body or brain, and if We can't feel Them, then They are gone.
She might just need some time off. It's hard being Out all the time. Everyone needs a break sometimes.
The real question is...
If She doesn't come back, can You live Her life for Her, or will You make it Your own?

StonieRhode raises soemthing important. Are you aware of any of your others? Perhaps every now and then tehy can spend a little time out, giving you time to rest? Are you in contact with them? I had one friend in a similar situation to yours, i think she created an internal room where she could leave messages for her host and others that had disappeared to come across. I can't remember if she created a whiteboard in the room or wrote on it's walls, but eventually her host and others found the room and slowly came back. You might have a different method that is more suitable for you?
but i do think the most important thing at the moment is ot treat yourself gently, you're here and out for a reason that is important for all your others, is what i think.
Thank you everyone for your encouragement and support!
