In our real world we talk to people, letting them know we are working on certain skills, without telling them all about us. So then I ask for feedback and advice from people who seem to have mastered what I'm trying to do. Later, I ask feedback on what they have observed (this is hard for me), and also ask for tolerance as I am working through things. The people I'm speaking of are only those who have shown themselves to posess some level of credibility.
