I don't know if anyone has had this experience but a few of my alters have given me the exact date they were created.Has anyone else experienced this?Some of my alters know the exact date and some don't in my case.

Oh yes I can remember some exact days of fragmentaion with some and in others they seemed to have just showed up from some where in my denial probably.

I have some rough idea about their creations but no dates no. I may remember some events even but no dates.

no one has ever told me the date, but they can normally give ages, the ones i know that have been here the longest are talon, maxwell, marcus, and ivana who have some serious hate for some people who hurt me.

I don't have any exact dates, but I at least know around what date they were. Like Ast, at least around the time I was stabbed at 15.

Stephanie my alters recollection of their first memories are amazing.They remember the smells,sights,sounds and feelings with incredible detail.One of my alters that remembered the exact date actually gave me the day of the week also and when I looked it up on a calendar it was right..I was floored by this.I will say though that they didn't start giving me their dates until I asked them to connect with all the alters that had split off from them.Until they did this they weren't aware of the date they were created or born but as soon as they connected to these other split offs here came the dates. This condition is truly amazing.

some come to being in an older age state so the date does not always correlate with their age.

I kinda wish I had tht going on, I can't get my alters to come out with my counselor. Mine are vague. I have one that is hopless, helpless. one that is like a rebellios teenager. One who was stuck in a box who is always very scared (I know by the panick I feel) I try to control her and make her stay in because she( her feeling ) is too scary. then I always feel like I'm making this stuff up when one comes out.

Ickiv my alters are the same way.The first time I told my mother in law (who was the second person I told)that I had DID my alters were shaking and scared and didn't want to reveal this to her.Everytime I reveal I have DID to someone new they are the same way.I mean it is their whole purpose to keep traumatic painful secrets from their host thus they are very secretive by nature.My alters are usually confused and vague when they first emerge also.It usually takes some time for them to gather themselves and remember their name, how old and what gender they are.I have also felt like I was making this stuff up in the beginning when I first discovered I had DID. Some of my alters were making me feel this way so they could stay in hiding and not be discovered.They thought if I belived that then I would leave them alone.They had no such luck with me because I kept asking and nosing about until they had no choice but to reveal themselves....lol.
