This makes perfect sense given the misconceptions of incest survivors about themselves. But I don't remember what was said to me during my abuse... I don't recall it ever being violent, although threatening. There were things along the lines of "you want it" said to me during later years and rapes but as a young one (when DID supposedly starts), my abuser was benevolent and only quietly threatening (ie, I knew if I said "no" I'd get in trouble somehow, just didn't know how).

You'd think, given all this, that hypnosis in therapy would be the end-all that fixes things....
i have a memory of being made to repeat things back to an abuser,while being sexually abused at maybe 4 or 5.stuff that wasnt true but i was made to say it..
