Personally, I can believe whole-heartedly and have experienced myself differences in different alters; such as, of course, different tones of voice, and vocabulary usage, different color preferences, ages, differences in facial expressions, etc. But actual physical changes, aside from abreactions, is hard for me to swallow. Although, while I have experienced abreactions, I have not, to my knowledge, ever experienced an actual complete physical change. As some people I've both met and heard of. But I've only heard their claims and not seen them for myself. Although I have been in this world long enough now that I can believe that anything, at least almost anything, is possible. And I'm open to knowing anything new.
i agree with darkside2276 and Starfish, perhaps best see a GP to check for any physical medical issues? If there are none, then explore the options you're already considering?

One time I got drunk. I woke up with a hang over. I switched and that personality was not hung over. I do have a personality that is left handed, I am right handed. I also have a personality that creates symphonies in her head, but I have no musical training and I have one that speaks a foreign language.
My therapist is amazed by their differences. I believe that we really do not know a lot about the power of the mind. If people knew more about the function of the brain they would understand us better.
