So as of right now I have been diagnosed with borderline did so I have a couple questions, so I thought I was crazy but do anyone else argue with yourself, or alter in your head or say things out loud that you didn't want to or is that just me ?

I've been arguing with myself and talking to myself (even out loud) for my whole life. I thought it was normal. Turns out I have DID.

Yay I'm not alone

No, not all, that was one of the first things I noticed and I realized a month ago that at the end of my conversations I always say, "ok that's what we'll do." It was like a little light bulb went off. That plus some other stuff of course. It's really just our response to the abuse. Quite smart really.

Love the people in your head.

I'm constantly talking to myself. I argue with myself and discuss things with myself. Sometimes there are conversations and singing going on at the same time. I try to be careful not to talk out loud, but it happens often.

I am consistently arguing and discussing stuff with myself. The one rule of thumb that I have learned is that even if they hate you, you love them.

I always thought arguing with yourself was normal i always said i had a louder conscience than everyone else lol but its hard to love all parts when one is suicide and like to cut and drink.. and another one discusses me so half good half bad eh

Internal monologue? No. More like internal town hall meeting. =D

I have a part that is suicidal and parts that SI. Since I have been trying to be aware of my feelings, what triggered them, what my reaction is and what I need to tolerate them, I have been doing better. Not perfect, but better. Those parts are trying to protect other parts of me from being overwhelmed with feelings. By letting those parts know that I can help the children inside of me tolerate the feelings they can stand back and don't need to protect my inner children from the feelings.
