umm sometimes it works if "I" just make time for the one thing, like the paper, and commit myself to that only till it's done. Sometimes it looks like obsession, but it works.. and everything and everybody else just has to wait.
Or asking for help e.g someone to help with study breaks, someone to help find material, someone to help keep things on track
In my experience it doesn't usually work unless you reach a critical mass of people invested in your cause. So maybe if they all knew how important it was, and how it will benefit them too that could help.
But, I guess there is no fail-safe method. I wish you lots of luck and patience!
Still not going so great . . . but slowly, ever so slowly we are starting to actually get some of this paper written. At this rate it might take a year, but at least there's some progress.
