Personally, we find the benefits outweigh thechallenges. Our littles get to play with kids their own ages, teens get to hang out at the mall together, and adults of various genders and sexual preferences have a chance to relate to each other.
Our partner and us have been together nearly 5 years though, so we have had plenty of time to work out the kinks so to speak. There were definitely some rough patches early on.
Maybe if you're both in therapy, whether it be seperately or together, you can work through things slowly.
If you both love eachother it's worth fighting extra hard for xx
