Ok so i hear a lot about what people's alters do in "their world" as my therapist calls it, my two biggest contributers are my alters Dr. Talon and Dr. Max they have separated the other alters into two groups, men and woman/children, they try to do at least a little therapy for the others as well as each other, so i guess my question is what do you alters do in "their world".

i'm not sure what you're asking. we have some who deal with certain people or situation. Is that what you mean?

i mean like what is their job or role in their world. like do you just have gaurdians, or is it more specific like an artist?

I've come to a proverbial and formidable WALL in my mind, which is clearly meant not to ever be ..aw, crap...I can't think of the verb for clearing over a wall...so (insert word)...I have come to learn to respect that. As long as I am able to function on some level and remain relatively safe and healthy, I feel that is better than opening Pandora's box. I've spent many years in therapy, and I have come up with this as my best way to get by in this world without any further ado. In my life, anyway, it works better for me to allow the inside to learn from listening and watching for themselves. And they take care of the rest as long as it all works. Which so far, it has.

Hi,
In our system or world rather, theres lots of stuff going on. We have doctors, teachers, therapists. We have a variety of things for the insiders to do. Its almost like an inside outside world.. They do the same things every day people do on the outside. But having such a huge system we too have had to separate them into groups. Men will stay with the men and boys/teens and women will stay with the women/girls/teens. We keep the wild ones seperated from every one. They have issues so we don't let them any where near the others. Each man/woman has up to 20 kids to watch over. It's almost like a community house for each group.

I really don't know much about my inner system only that they seem to take on tasks that I cannot do. I realize how I was able to function because of them. So in a sense they have jobs. There are some though that are not helpful and really don't like me. I don't know much more than that, as the therapists that I went to would not share anything with me.
